I got a Lowrance elite 4x fish finder for christmas (along with 4 $25 gift cards to bass pro on top of the one i already had), but I was looking on youtube at the 4x dsi and it looked pretty sweet and I was thinking about taking mine back and getting the dsi. Does anyone know anything about the down scanning imaging? Would it be worth the extra $40-$50 (in gift cards) i would be spending on it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Alright so I was strolling through the fishing isle at Wal-mart and had an idea. The barrel swivel with the interlock snaps could save a lot of precious fishing time by diminishing the need to retie on lures every time you want to change. But then there's also the scary possibility that it could scare off that smart, picky bass because of the extra metal you add with it... What are your thoughts?

i do leave my supplies in my car which gets smokin hot while not in the garage. But I know other people who do the same and it hasnt seemed to effect theirs much, if at all. Are different lines effected in different ways? By the way, what line do you use? (to all readers, not just Virtuoso)

I've been having some problems with my yo zuri hybrid line and wanted to know if anybody else had the same complications? I got 14 lb test and its been breaking around or in the reel. I've gotten a few birds nest but not a crazy amount, does that have anything to do with it? Ive lost a few lures and a fish or two and im not happy about that this is also my first baitcaster, maybe im doing something wrong? All input is appreciated!

Have any of you guys tried out the Jika rig? Ive been reading about it lately and im curious to know how its worked for everybody. If so, how have you been using it and with what supplies?

Thats the way I am. I have to throw it out there with my right hand or it just feels awkward. I'm right handed so I think it makes more since to cast right handed than to reel right handed.
