Is All This Really Necessary?
There's nothing wrong with experimenting (so I agree with you there), I actually tackle one new technique or type of lure each year. I just dont go nuts with too much tackle; I would rather have two options for a specific situation than 20. I just try to keep it simple and not become overwhelmed by having too many choices. I think when there's too many choices anglers tend to switch lures way too quickly. OkobojiEagle; I will send you a PM with the article.

Is All This Really Necessary?
Please read the latest issue of Bassin' Magazine; under the Weekend Angler section I wrote an article on narrowing down the amount of tackle needed; its a great article and offers some very good advice. I used to be so overwhelmed with everything that was out there; but now I carry alot less in my tackle bag and I am certainly a much more confident fisherman. Its really amazing how little you actually need in your tackle box.

Tackle Warehouse
I would take that Gift Card and buy yourself as many Berkley Havoc Pit Boss's, Craw Fatty's and Rocket Craws as you can get. These soft plastics will catch Bass under ANY condition. Also get yourself some 3/16 and 1/4 oz. Tungsten weights; some 3/0 and 4/0 Gammy EWG Superline Hooks and sinker stops. That is all you need in your tacklebox : )

Hello From Pennsylvania
Welcome to the site! Your very lucky; I used to fish the Poconos in the sumertime. I have fished White Deer Lake, Lake Shahola and Pecks Pond. You have alot of GREAT bass waters up your way. I havent been up there in a few years now but I heard Pecks Pond is a little rough right now with all the vegetation?

Hello Everybody - This Is Frogman From Pa
Just a quick hello; I am brand new to this site and looking forward to being a member. I live in PA and have been an avid Bass Fisherman for approximately 25 years now. I do not fish tournaments; I only fish for fun. My specialty would be fishing any type of soft plastic; specifically the Havoc Pit Boss and various creature baits. I also enjoy fishing the Strike King Rage Shad (best topwater bait ever made). I have also writeen a few articles in Bassin' Magazine and waiting for my third article to be published in the upcoming issue.
