I live in the near west end, not far from U of R. I've spent some time fishing the pond there, the lakes in Byrd Park, and along the river. Being a new and boatless fisherman, any suggestions for good ponds or spots on the river will be greatly appreciated.

Very excited to join the forum. I'm new to fishing, and the BassResource Youtube videos have been invaluable. I hope to learn even more from the forums, and, someday, to contribute something myself.
