  3. Heres my first two for now! 12 incher, not too much. 17 inches, and heres a pic of the whole fish, he got a bit dirty... 29 inches all together right now.
  4. Hey can this be a two person team?
  5. Going tonight, should pull out some nice ones!
  6. Welcome man!
  7. Hey man welcome to the forums, I live down by Austin, sorry, hook em'!
  8. I'm coming in down here in Texas!
  9. Sounds like a good idea to me!
  10. The anglers choose it, I know iaconelli and ish Monroe come out to rap songs, and iaconelli made his own rap song!
  11. Frogg toggs for sure, great price.
  12. I love that lake, it has so many double digit bass in it, it's just insane.
  13. A weight fluke would be good, let it sink in the open pockets.
  14. I love using a big darker green jig(1/2 ounce) or a watermelon candy brush hog and just drag it slow.
  15. Another thing, practice with a target in your yard if possible.
  16. I flip and pitch ALL year long, but during the year you might have to change the types of cover you fish.
  17. Watermelon red baby brush hog, it's a killer!
  18. If it gets to a certain point where you just can't catch anything, I'd suggest talking to the locals. The past 2 years I've dedicated my fishing time to learn new techniques, I'll use them for 2-3 sometimes 4 months to make sure I'm completely comfortable with it. Practice practice practice...
  19. I used Vanish for awhile fun fishing, but yesterday i used it in my tournament and broke off 5 times on hooksets, never again...
  20. I would start off with creature baits right now like zoom baby brush hogs in any kind of watermelon color, or get some 4in senkos, as for line i would try either a fluorocarbon or monofilament line thats at least 10lbs, 20lb max. If im fishing a lot of heavy cover i'll use 17lb fluorocarbon.
  21. Travis is my home lake, i fish there about everyday because i live less then a mile from the water, I've fished Lake Georgetown once but never had too much luck, if you wanna have a good time go to lake Austin, they're pulling out bass over 10 lbs constantly.
  22. I live in central Texas, what lake are you fishing?
  23. Don't be afraid to throw it into heavy cover, there could be a fish there! Also know what your jig normally feels like, if it doesnt feel right then set the hook.
