I gessed it, Ike tied for first day 1 and is in 3rd after a back setting boat malfunction on day 2!!! Pace if in the lead by 7 lbs. and a big fish of 7.xx lbs. GO IKE ON EM!!!!

Well its a little late now, but "Bolder" is a great area of the lake for largemouth... good spinner bait, crank bait lake. any shad imitator is great considering the lake is full of shad. also the "trussels" or the railroad tracks are full of quality bass on lip less and noisy cranks. if your ever back to carlyle and need any more info just let me know, im there 90% of the season and know a little more about that lake than any so just feel free to let me know.

Like most classics, there should be a lot of slow/deep water fishing because of the harshly cold weather...there is probably going to be a lot of jig and pigging on Friday, then the temps are rising some and we might see a little big of deep cranking and maybe some spinner baits throughout the weekend. We will just have to see! I'm ready to see what happens, I think Mike Iaconnelli and Kevin Van Dam will be in the top spots because KVD is a god on the crank bait, but then Ike is more of a jig type of fisherman...My favorite Pro is Ike, but KVD is proven to be a more successful classic angler having 4 wins, and I think he has qualified like 30 times. I wish them all luck and I hope to join them one day. Hey, I can dream!!!! lol
