I always end up catching a big drum. It's like a running joke now with my brothers and dad when we go out. Actually just caught one of my dock last weekend. It had to be at least 3lb.

.rm. They were on there but I didn't see a need to put then on with the bearing upgrade. Btw it was loose before the up grade too.

I love the citica too. I've upgraded the bearings on my other one and it is a whole new real. That citica and my curado e both have some movement that feels normal. The bad citica is a whole other story though. There is something missing for sure. On another note I am also looking at a chronarch. There is an outdoor store on ebay sling them for around 170.

Shims make sense. I'll compare with my other citica. Where would I find said shims? Thanks a lot by the way.

I recently bought a "lightly used" Citica off ebay. Ended up being very used and instead of the hassle of sending it back the seller gave me a decent refund. The drive shaft is loose and moves in and out about an 1/8th of an inch. I took it apart to clean and upgrade the drag and drive shaft bearing and I did not see anywhere that I could tighten to fix the issue, I was curious if anyone has run into an issue like this. I have searched all over google and cannot find a fix. The real is usable but it drives me nuts. Thanks in advance.

Finally decided to sign up after lurking for long enough. The main lake I fish is the lake of the Ozarks, but I also fish what ever I can find in Kansas around the Manhattan area. I am currently facing my addiction to gear and will have lots of questions. Thanks.
