I recommend the crankin stick trigger Basspro in a 7ft length and its on sale for $59. Its unidirectional graphite and has a good grip with the power hump handle. If you want a glass rod, which is recommended, then get a kvd glass rod 7ft on sale $79 or a cheap ugly stick glass rod. These can be bought used on ebay for like 100-130. If you rather buy new then i would check out the Abu Garcia Revo3 Winch on ebay for like $150-$160. Its like a 5.4:1 reel.........torquey slow rolling reel that could drag out a engine block......j/p but it can handle alot with a 20+lbs drag system.

Thanks, yeh I did want fishing spools to fit inside my Plano spool boxes but anything can work for now.

Yeh I use a power drill attachment (invention) to strip my reels line back onto spools. Surprising is I didn't see any empty spools on eBay.

I asked for places to buy spools not your personal comments.

Surplus line as in used fishing line. Sometimes I spool line for just a few outings and switch up. I rather put it on a backup spool and mark it used.

Hey fellas i'm looking for a place to buy blank spools in 300 yd and 1000 yd for spooling surplus lines and such. I'm surprised I cannot find any, can someone help me out or just send me all our blank spools.
