Ponds In Fairfax
I live in walking distance of royal lake and I'm out there all the time when I'm not at the Occoquan. There are some good bass there but its extremely over fished. Once you figure out the honey holes though its hard to get skunked. Its public and you don't have to worry about people telling you to leave. Theres plenty of cats there too, my dad has caught a good 20 pounder just using a worm and bobber. Also check out "The Ponds" in Burke, I haven't fished there for a couple of years but I pulled my biggest bass out of one of them.

Crankin Rod And Reel
Thanks guys for the responses. I really cant afford know more than a 175 dollar setup. I pretty much decided last week that I was going to get the BPS crankin stick, and from what yall saying it sounds like the right choice for me right now. From what I read and from what yall said sounds like instead of the 6'6 I need to get the 7' MH. As for the reel, this is where I cant decide. I really like the revo winch but its out of my price range unless I can win a bid on ebay for a good deal. I have also been lookin hard at the lews speed spoil and see it has some very good reviews and I like the curado too. Just cant decide which one to get.

Crankin Rod And Reel
Hey everyone first post on here. Im looking to get a rod and reel for just crankbaits since I fish them about 80% of the time. I am in college so I do have a budget on what I can afford. I mostly throw KVD square bills 1.5s, DT6's, DT10's, and red eyes. I'm thinkin about gettin a reel in a 5.4.1. and a 6'6 rod. What yall reccomend?
