I will be fishing lake Georgetown in central texas. The water is fairly clear. I will try to catch some Largemouth Bass. I don't know what the temp is as the weather changes around here are insane. It been very humid and there is a chance of rain today.

I was supposed to go boat fishing with my grandfather tomorrow but the boat is having trouble so we will go shore fishing instead . Does anyone have tips for types of bait? I am not sure if there is vegetation or not so tips for both will be appreciated. I have a small amount of bait so we might be able to stop at a tackle store to pick some up. Thanks!

I went by Academy today and got some Zoom Baby Brush Hogs, Garlic Scented Ribbits, some Trilene XT Extra Tough 17# line, and a Strike King Bottom Dweller! I made a mistake with the bottom dweller and accidently got a 3/4 oz.

I usually fish from a boat but I do fish from shore if I don't have access to my grandfathers boat. I am a teenager at the time. I am going to Walmart today to get some soft baits and maybe some spinners and jigs.

What are you alls favorite places to buy tackle? I called Academy and they said they have a very limited supply of lures. I called Walmart and they said they only have night crawlers. Does Walmart have a good selection of good tackle such as North Star and Booyah etc.? Thanks

So as a beginner, alls I have is a Shakespeare spinning reel and rod. I want to use all types of baits but do I need a baitcaster? Do I need a new rod? If so what brands do you recommend? Thanks!

What are yall's favorite Spinnerbaits, Jigs, and Soft Plastic baits? I have only fished bass with worms and need some info on good bait for small to medium size bass. Thanks

Hello everyone! I will be going out to fish with my grandfather in a couple days. I know that I should go to the northwest part of the lake and near the shore with a lot of weeds and cover. I heard that spinnerbait and crankbait work well. I know that the water temperature effects where the fish are but I'm not sure about where they are at what temperatures. Does anyone have any other tips for me? Oh and what weight line should I use? Thanks!
