Hello Fishermen, First Post on this forum. I've been a Bass Club Fisherman for the last 35 years and a Jig and Pork is my go to bait. I make my own jigs and have found that certain color combinations produce far better than others. In the spring I like black and green. Summer is black and blue and fall is brown and orange. ALWAYS fish a jig on a fast breaking shore line or Point. That is: where shallow water meets deeper water in a short distance. That's when a Jig is at it's best. Also, when night fishing I use a Black and red jig. Again on those fast break shore lines. hope this helps...............evinrude
