I live about 30 minutes from sarasota the van wezel pier has MASSIVE sheephead under it right now. Get some shrimp and drop them right next to the pilings. also if you can make the drive there is a good snook spot about 5 minutes from my house. I mostly use yozuri hardplastics for saltwater. Hey guys I just turned 18 today and Im looking into buying a rifle but i dont want to break the bank. Any recomendations for a decent rifle under $300? I already have a few shotguns and i dont want anymore.

just to clarify everyone we are not going for the best 5 fish of the month. We are going for the length of your best two fish of the week added up at the end of the month. So there should be a total of 8 lengths added up on june 6th.

20" and 19.5"

At the end of the tournament we will take the best 2 fish of each week and combine their lengths. person with the highest number of inches gets bragging rights!

Caught these two today, biggest of the week.This week was filled with dinks. The first fish is 17.5 and the second is 18. 35.5 inches this week for me!

Have you fished any tournaments? If you havent, you need to find a club near you and start there. It's pretty hard to get a sponsor without competing. Companies aren't looking for weekend anglers. They are looking for someone that can sell their products at tournaments and shows. Also what are you expecting to get out of a sponsor?
