Heres a few pictures of the plug I used on the motor.

Oldfoggy First time out I put the trolling motor on the back. It was such a pain in the ass, I spent more time steering and adjusting than fishing. Had a friend with me so the extra room taken up by the trolling motor behind my back made for close quarters. Next time out I put the motor in front was a night-day difference gained about a foot because the motor was in front of me. Was easy to control and fish. If I had it to do over again I don't think I would even bother setting up a plug in the back.

Oldfoggy I used the mar-lan brand from cabelas when I wired my boat. They seem to hold up well to use. Put one in the fornt and one in the rear. Soldered the plug to the motor and used heat shrink tubing to seal it a little.

Pdubya I use PIXresizer, its free and very easy to use. Google it, I think i ended up on download.com to download it.

I ran wires in mine without taking it apart. Just took some patience and time. But from the looks of it it shouldn't be that hard to split the two halves. I think everything is just pop rivited, I'd start at one end remove a few of the rivets and see if the two pieces are epoxied or sealed together. If so i'd leave it.

Thought I'd post a few pictures how I store my Bass Raider, have not seen alot of people covering this. I bought a bicycle lift at Harbor Freight. Think it was like $7, I replaced the rope with a better quality nylon one. Screwed the hooks to a 2x6 I trimmed to the right length to cradle the boat. I tyed a few extra lengths of rope around to make sure nothing would end up on the ground if something failed. It's been like this for two years so far without incident. Hope this can help someone out there thats tired of walking around theirs in the winter or could use a little extra space in the garage.

Picked up a Bass raider 8 a couple of years ago not a 8e so no wires. Used fish tape and ran wires through the hull. Setup plugs front and rear for trolling motor and added a few footwell lights, and a cigarette lighter plug for the fishfinder. Has been a great little boat for fishing the no wake lakes here in Omaha NE. Came across this thread yesterday and wished I would have found it sooner. Nice to see im not the only one putting stuff on a boat like this.
