Sorry about the last post, I meant that I was using the Yum Money Hounds. I have been hit in the head too many times.

I fished the creek last night near the road by the softball field. I hooked up with three snakeheads but was unable to land any of them. I was using those Yum Smoothhound top water lures, The Snakeheads love them, but the hook up rate with those is crap. I did land one last year late in the season with one. The Snakes that I hooked up with last night were laying right up against the bank, I had to stand back about 10 feet from the bank and then cast up along the bank to draw them out from cover. If you are up on the bank, you will spook them and they wont come out. I also seen some pretty massive carp as well as a couple good size bass but couldnt coax the bass into biting. If the weather holds out, I am going to head back out this evening and try again. It would be so much easier with a boat if you have one.
