  1. Ontelaunee Is in Leesport, PA Shore fishing only. I never had much luck there.
  2. I have a 2005 Lowe 165 Fishing Machine. Never had a problem with it.
  3. I fish rivers and usually only bring one or two rods at most. As I'm floating there are a lot of areas I have to hold the rods because of low trees. I snapped one rod early on when I was shooting a rapid and it got caught up in the above trees. Now I bring older rod and usually only one. St Croix Triumph Medium Power with Fast tip. Spinning reel. I'll second SOA. Others are Mad Men, Walking Dead, then there are classics like Cheers.
  5. Patrick, Blue Marsh is tough, I don't usually get skunked there, but don't have high numbers either. Other lakes I've fished are Marsh Creek (chester county) was really good two years ago, but they sprayed the weeds and everyone states it's tougher now to get fish. I haven't been there in two years. I purchased a kayak in addition to my regular boat and fish the Schyukill River quite often now. Bryan
  6. Thank you all for the welcomes.
  7. Blue Marsh has some big bass, but is tough to fish. The largest I've caught is about 3 1/2 pounds. Bryan
  8. Darren, About half the time from kayak and the other half from a Lowe 165.
  9. I feel your pain there. It's a love hate relationship. Love it because it's only 15 minutes from home, but it's a tough lake. I never can get the consistent bite there. I fish the Schuylkill from the kayak more than Blue Marsh the last two years. Bryan
  10. I either fish a Senco wachy style (green pumpkin 3in or 4in) or a Winco River Darter again 3in or 3.75in. http://www.wincoscustomlures.com/Yesterday/tnmasterpics/darter_softjerkbait.jpg
  11. I have multiple St Croix and love them. Just purchased the Mojo Bass. Also have a Shimano Crucial that I love. So I either get a St Croix or a Shimano.
  12. Hello, I'm on another board and was looking for another for more resources. Looking forward to getting to know the members and site. Bryan
