So I'm curious what the general consensus on this forum is on locating bass. I know there are a ton of variables in this but general tips would be appreciated. What rules of thumb do you use for deciding what areas to fish? Do you change your strategy depending on the time of day, season, or weather? I usually go straight for cover or structure without much thought to these variables and am wondering if I'm missing out on fish because I'm not changing my strategy.
