I mostly fish the local ponds/lakes in the Fenton area. Simpson, 2 Fabick lakes, Unger park. The only fish I've ever caught was fishing the Mermeac river where the Simpson lake runs off to. It was a puny 8 inch small mouth. I've tried the Busch lakes but it's a bit of a drive and I've never had success bass fishing there as well. It's been a frustrating experience and I'm researching other places to try and I've seen the Queeny Lake/Spanish Lake mentioned. I will try those next. I don't own a boat so I fish from the bank.
