  1. Yeah, that's for family outings. Friends, the limit is 3. I'm questioning because my dad currently mans the transom TM and uses the tiller steer and dislikes the foot pedal. If I switch to the bow mount I am afraid I will force myself to do all of the maneuvering along with the issues with mounting the bow mount to my boat which does not yield a lot of mounting space.
  2. I fish with 3-4 people in the boat.
  3. How much of a difference is there? I ask because mounting a trolling motor to the bow of my boat may pose some work.
  4. So is the Edge a good choice? For a 16' vhull w/ 3-4 people on it should I look to a 55lb thrust or is 40lbs enough?
  5. Is the Auto Pilot worth the extra money because I really cannot afford it? If I don't get the Auto Pilot is it smart to save a little more and get the Minn Kota Edge instead of the Power Drive?
  6. I am looking into purchasing a bow mount trolling motor for my 16' Sylvan fishing boat. First, how much space do I need to mount the device? This isn't a bass boat, it is a typical open-bow boat so I don't have much space. Second, what power do I need? I typically carry 3-4 people. I would prefer to run a 12V system. Third, what length shaft do I want? I would say it is about 48" top to bottom. Fourth, what model? I have looked into the PwerDrive and Edge models. Ebay seems like the only place to save money, any other ideas. Thank you!
  7. Thank you that was part of what I am looking for!
  8. First of all, this isn't a clear-cut question so I don't expect a specific answer. I've been fishing off and on for 15+ years and seriously for 2. I got my boat last year and am starting to learn the use of a fish finder. It seems like every year I start out hot (during spawn and post-spawn) and then tail off as the summer goes on up here in northern NY. It also seems like I always resort back to the same old spinnerbait instead of going out of my comfort zone. What do I need to do to take it to the next level because there are no answers once I leave and am on the water?
  9. Thank you and sorry for the mistake.

  11. What is that suppose to mean?
  12. If I have a starting battery for starting and a large accessories battery for my finder, lights, and trolling motor will I need an onboard charger or will the acc battery last a full day?
  13. Is the bass fishing matrix sold at bassresource.com a worthy purchase or just a gimmick?
