Can't go wrong with the Fish Ranger they have a great warranty themselves so you can't go wrong. I own 2 avids from Saint Croix and Powell Max plus an endurance. I always seem to gravitate to the Powells.

Personally like the chatterbait! Have caught many large fish with them. I must remember to check the lure after catching a large one. Broke off two last fall but that was my own fault for not checking., It only takes a second to tie a knot!

I own an Avid 7' and a Powell 703. I like the feel of both but the Powell is lighter and I have less fatigue after a long day fishing. They both have the power and work with different setups. Check the web for deals and have fun fishing.
