what is a good soft plastic craw for dirty water?

what about regular non-colored blade spinners, whats a good skirt color and blade for these kind of waters

do the colored blades work?

I live in Brooklyn so my nearest lake is prospect park, its said to have the highest concentration of bass in all of New York but I cant catch a d**n fish on a spinner. Any suggestion ? (the water is green from algae and plant matter)

Thanks guys for the help I went to walmart and ended up with a pinnacle platinum plus combo. It was cheaper,smoother and for some reason felt sturdier.

I am looking to buy a new bait caster and was wondering which one of these two is better and why? I have read a lot of reviews and some say the rods brake easily, is this true?
