I'm pretty new to bass fishing as well. Crankbaits are in my opinion the easiest for me to catch fish on and they are pretty easy to learn how to fish. I recommend the KVD 1.5 in either sexy shad, bluegill, or TN shad. They usually run about $5.50

I use headphones but I like to listen to Kid Cudi while I'm fishing.

Question kinda off topic sorry. Where can I buy some of his stuff at?

Any specific rod you guys would recommend for Bluegill?

My budget is around 500-600 bucks somewhere in that area

There was a small nic in the rod when it arrived I guess it had been damaged during the shipment. I had been fishing with it a couple of days no problem. Then I went to cast out my 3/8 oz War Eagle spinnerbait the tip of the rod just snapped off.

The tip broke off of it. I bought it off of eBay brand new is there anything that I can do? It's a 6'10 MH.

What is a good kayak for fishing. I'm not looking to spend a whole lot because I'm planning to get a new truck here soon so what would you all recommend?

Caught it at about 10:30 last night at my local park. I know it's not very big but it's my first decent fish of my fishing career. Thank you guys for all your advice this site really is awesome. I caught it on a Senko.

Are there different types of bluegill?

I was using the Rebel Crickhopper today and was catching a bunch of bluegill like 10+ I also caught 2 small largemouth bass on it.

I've been liking the KVD 1.5 in TN Shad pretty well. I've caught about 5 or so bass on it. Nothing big though seems like all I catch are sub-1 pounders.

Is it worth getting?

I've looked on eBay, amazon, tackle warehouse, and bass pro shop but I couldn't find that lure anywhere. Any advice on where to find one?
