Went down to Truman Lake today. Really loving this 93SV. Side Imaging is much improved after wiring it to the battery instead of the under console power. It's a learning curve, though. I am eager for more time with it. Seen a couple huge areas filled with fish on sonar, but they weren't biting. Think they were waiting for me to leave.

Yea, I switched to 455khz trying to get better images. Thanks for the tip on blue. And the image Going to re wire and test tonight

Tested out the 93 today. Side imaging didn't show much cover. Thinking I need to wire it directly to the batt to give it more power. Unless anyone has an idea for me to try. Really loved having the GPS and maps. Super impressed with it overall. In this pic, on the left side were trees laying perpendicular to the shore, they barely show up on SI. Or the right is some interference I think I'm getting from a strake a couple inches from the transducer.

Worked on the boat all weekend. Really happy with my setup. Did all the season prep stuff, installed the 93SV and built a box for the front deck. Had just enough left over carpet. Now I need to test the 93

Also, who do you guys use for detailing your boats?

Stuck between the value of the 73sv and the large screen 93sv. Do most guys troll with split screens? Went back to BPS. Hard to leave without one. Any advice on screen size would help. Thanks a lot!

That was great info, thanks! I went to BPS in Indep and the last years models were sold out. Anyone see them available around the KC metro, let me know please! Seems like neat technology for the money. I think I want contours. Need to start figuring out patterns. Humminbirds have great looking screens. Any other advice out there? Thanks a lot!
