  1. Hi, I'm planning a trip to Ocala sometime in the Fall (September through November sometime). I'll be in Ocala for a week, and I'd like to drive into Ocala Forest and fish for bass on some of the smaller lakes. I'm not planning on renting a boat - would like to find a little out of the way bank access where I can fish with plastic worms or my favorite Slug-Gos, or even some surface lures. I don't want to spend a lot of time driving, so I'm looking at the West side of the park, and I'm not looking for trophies. Anything in the 2 - 6 pound range, with the outside chance of hooking something bigger, would be great. Can anyone give me any tips for when I'm there? I'll feel lost if I try to head out on my own! Thanks, Jeff
