I'm casting worms and lizards mostly till I can get my hands on some jigs and other stuff

This is the setup I have it's a quantum vantex with a pro im6 7ft medium heavy rod and its a graphite rod ...would this be a good setup for the area I fish

I would say my budget just for right now would be a 130 right now ....I have a Shakespeare combo right now till I can get a good bait cast reel or a good spinning reel

Thanks I am 18 and the water I fish around in sheep pet Louisiana are mostly far but not muddy I am willing to spend the $ .
