  16. While I may agree that competitive fishing is a sport, just because something is physically demanding doesn't make it a sport, and just because there is competition doesn't make something a sport. Is monopoly a sport? Is hiking a sport?
  17. This cold front w/ strong wind and DST is creating some tough conditions! I've only been out a couple times but I've been favoring the lipless crank and swimbait (heavier of my lures.) Whats your go-to for windy conditions?
  18. Caught on Yozuri minnow crankbait after work in Coral Springs. 16.5" Unfortunately one of the treble hooks ripped her gills pretty bad and she didn't make it. Lady near me was fishing for keeps so I gave it to her for dinner.
  19. Here's a 16.5" from lunch today! Sun was shining bright. Yozuri minnow crankbait fished "walk the dog." 20lb braid w/ 12lb flouro leader.
  20. On sea turtle nesting beaches, they require you to use red light or a red cover over your normal light. Apparently it's invisible to the turtles. Also.."red light does not bleach the photopigment we depend upon for our night vision. Consequently, one can use a red light briefly to fill out a data form and still be able to see in the dark when the light is turned off."
  21. Hahaha I'll be celebrating all winter! Accounting has a way of kidnapping me around month end. Good luck everyone
  22. d**n looks like I just missed this month. regardless I'll be postin with catch info/pictures, I hope!
  23. For me as a bank fisherman, one of the toughest things is landing a fish when theres a high bank. A nice fish out of the water will put a lot of strain on your line. A couple good head-jerks and the fish is back in the water. Any tactics besides just flinging the fish over your shoulder?
