Soft Plastics - Worms And Creatures
try watching bassresource vids on youtube. They have a video for every type of rigging you could think of. If you are fishing shallow areas try wacky rigging a senko. Pull it to the top of the water and let it flutter down, drives em crazy.

Rage Toad Durability
I think the Rage Toads are a great bait and they definitely catch fish. That being said, I am having issues with the durability of these baits. It seems like the legs and noses are constantly ripping. I went through two packs in an afternoon yesterday and that is a little much for me. It seems like they are only good for one fish for the most part and occasionally they rip from just the motion of casting or being pulled through cover. I wondered if anyone had any tips for me on extending the life of these baits? Unless I can find some way to make them tougher I am going to have to opt for something more durable or more economical. I'm planning to try the zmans that are made from the elaztech material bc I know that stuff is very durable.

Is There A Way To Keep Buying Fishing Tackle Cheap? Lol
figure out which soft plastics catch best in your area and buy them in bulk. Don't talk yourself into thinking you HAVE to HAVE something to catch fish. (I'm saying this out loud for my own benefit as well lol)

Frog Fishing Question
sometimes they want a black belly and sometimes they want a white belly. Just throw both until you figure it out

Trailer On A Frog?
agreed. The thin g I like best about a frog is you can throw it into the nastiest cover. If you aren't getting good hookups then bend out the hooks a tiny bit.

Keitech S.i.f 4.8"
Don't have a lot of experience fishing with the in those conditions but I will say that if the bite is good and you are catching a lot of fish those baits will come apart in a hurry. Keep super glue handy or go with something more durable.

Swim Jigs And Trailers
Those could work. Just make sure they are wide enough to be threaded onto the hook without being too torn up. That's why I prefer the grubs, because they are nice and fat

Swim Jigs And Trailers
I like the zoom fat albert grubs in chartreuse or green pumpkin as a trailer on a swim jig. Put some glue at the top and rig it so the tail faces down, you get the best action that way. Personally I don't think a fluke makes a great swim jig trailer.

What Do You Use The Majority Of The Time When You're Frogging: Hollow Body Or Solid Body Frog? What Are Some Of Your Favorites?
This evening I had 4 or 5 fish hit the bait but only landed one. Pulled the hook out of their mouth mostly but also lost one or two after a good hook set and then they shake their head

What Do You Use The Majority Of The Time When You're Frogging: Hollow Body Or Solid Body Frog? What Are Some Of Your Favorites?
I've been out throwing exclusively frogs probably 4 or 5 times now. On average I will catch between 0 and 5 fish per trip. I have been skunked but also had some trips where I caught multiple good fish. I'm not setting the world on fire but I've had enough success to keep me interested.

What Do You Use The Majority Of The Time When You're Frogging: Hollow Body Or Solid Body Frog? What Are Some Of Your Favorites?
I'm new to froggin but so far I have been about 95% hollow body. I've tried the Strike King Sexy Frog, Booyah Pad Crasher, Live Target, and I have a River2Sea Spittin Wa and a Lunker Hunter frog on the way .

What Would You Have Tied On?
I would throw a frog around the timber with your baitcasting set up and a weightless fluke with the spinning combo. Also try a creature bait on a shakey head and experiment with the retrieve. Sometimes they want it swimming and sometimes they want it bouncing on the bottom.

Savage Gear 3D Hollow Frog With Action Legs - Review
I'm planning to pick up one of these and I'm debating between the action legs or the imitation legs. From the look of it the imitation legs are geared more toward a stop and start retrieve and the action legs are for a slow steady retrieve. Do I have that right?

Storing Soft Plastics
binders work well for organizing plastics. Be careful throwing different colors together, they will bleed onto eachother

Froggin: Lessons Learned
I'm new to throwing frogs but totally obsessed. I've learned a couple things since I started. 1. Use Heavy line. When I first started reading about froggin I laughed when I saw that guys like Dean Rojas were using 80 lb braid. After losing two frogs on hooksets with 10 lb fireline I learned my lesson real quick. 2. For me, slower has been better on the retrieve. A couple times I have backlashed on a cast and while I fixed the reel the frog was just sitting in the water for a minute or two, as soon as I twitched it WHAM. it was like a bass had just been staring at it and when it started to move I got a strike. There are a lot of areas by me that get very weedy in the summer and I an very pumped to fish them with the frog over the next few months. I'd love to hear from you guys If you have any tips.

How To Fish Senkos, Jigs, And Frogs
In regards to a frog, I just started fishing these but have had some success. fish them along weedy banks or in clumps of weeds / lilly pads. Imagine what a real frog would look like in the water and simulate that. Combination of walking, chugging, popping movements work well. Use heavy line because the hook sets are hard and fast. During the warmer months when the water gets weedy this is a terrific way to fish.

Rage Tail Problems
Bass prefer a craw with one claw. If you want a more durable craw get the strike king ones that are made from the elaztech material
