  1. yes sir this is my frog rod with a chronarch 200E7 and 50 pd suffix braid.
  2. im a oakley guy but under armoer makes a sweet pair too.
  3. sunline sniper fc i love it.
  4. doybins i have had the savy and a champion both awesome. i love G loomis too i just got a GL2 spinning rod and its very nice. i would love have some NRX models id almost bet there the best along with the champion and champion extreme.
  5. i been using power pro 20pd on my stratic c14 2500 and im really liking it for t riggs and tubes. stuff is tuff and where its just equivlent too a small pd mono it works great for underwater baits around thick cover.
  6. i havent used alot of high end fc line but i just bought some sniper fc 14pd and thats my new favorite fc. i dont think i will be using anything else from now on.
  7. i got a savy and a 735 champion both great i cant really tell a big difference besides the split grip. the champion seems be a little better backbone and little higher quality. i throw frogs and flip and pitch jigs with it and its great rod you can throw swimbaits also.
  8. save up a little more and get a curado the E is little better then the G series and you can find both used anywhere from 100 to 150 new. im a big shimano fanboy i have had alot of reels including team diawa stuff which is great aslo and lews but if i stick with one company its shiamno.
  9. i dont fish much from a boat so i just use 3. doybins champion 735 7'3 mh extra fast for flippin and pitching jigs and small swimbaits with a chronarch 200E7 14pd fc sniper fc line GL2 852s JWR on a c14 2500 with 20pd power pro braid for small weightless plastics and t rigged, tubes small lures like rooster tails also. powell max tw 6'9 heavy for square bills and med cranks. on a curado e5 with fc sniper fc 14pd. i would love have all the G loomis NRX rods i think there beautful but way out of my budget.
  10. i have had about 3 curly tails ripped off my worm this year from a bite. i think its where they grab it and i jerk and its older plastics so they may be more softer is my thought.
  11. i had a bass hit the other day it wasnt a big one i set the hook and missed it but i knew it was there so i threw back out again and it hit again i got him in. but from my experience when i get a hook set on a fish and it gets off i cant get it too hit again its like it scares the fish and they leave. if its top water i have seen them bump it and then stop the bait and it will strike again.
  12. good answers guys i am loving some pitching right now its my go too. whats some things you guys like too pitch besides jigs with trailers?
