  1. I purchase my Tracker 190TX in 2013 after evaluating other aluminum boats in the same class. The 195TXW was not an option for me in 2013, and now that it is available and can afford it, I have decided to stay with my 190TX and make the necessary upgrades. Mine was purchased with the 115 Optimax Pro and after two full seasons on the water this motor is appropriately suited for this boat. I have started my upgrades which I have detailed on member site. No upgrades for 2016 as the truck I us to pull my boat is 20 years old, so that is the next upgrade.
  2. Congrats on your first ride! Enjoy!!

  7. My 2013 aluminum Tracker 190TX is exactly the boat I was looking for, and the post you have received are from guys who providing you good advice. One thing you notice after fishing in whatever you decide to purchase is what upgrades will be necessary to deal with certain conditions while on the water; generally it is the equipment and not the boat that requires you attention. I have started to make my upgrades to my Tracker because my boat is a good platform. Check it out!
  8. I just installed a new fish finder/plotter on my Tracker 190TX. Check it out.
  9. When I started looking for my bass boat, I was concerned about some of the negative press. However, I soon realized these bass boat companies are all competing against each other for sales. After conducting my own research, I purchased a new 2013 Tracker 190TX. Check out my pics.

  13. I traveled around my state attending the boat shows were I could evaluate each boat I wanted to consider up close.
  14. I looked at the both the 170 & 175, but I am a big guy and felt more comfortable on the 190 TX. Check it out.
  15. I purchased a new 2013 Tracker 190TX in July of 2013 and have enjoyed making the purchase. I have made my first upgrades to the boat for 2015; check them out.
  16. I have mounted my Lowrance Elite-5x on my Jackson Cuda Yellow Jacket kayak. Jackson Cuda I considered a shoot through hull mount, but after evaluating a scupper hole mount it was apparent to me that a scupper hole mount would be more sensitive because the transducer is actually in the water. Also, the scupper hole provides adequate protection for the transducer because the scupper hole provides a recess for the transducer as shown: Lowrance Elite-5x Transducer Mounted In Scupper Hole Lowrance Elite-5x Transducer Mounted In Scupper Hole -2 I chose a scupper hole under my seat so as to eliminate any activity that could damage the mounting location. Equally important was the location under the seat had to be suitable in either the high or low seat position: Lowrance Elite-5x Transducer Mounted In Scupper Hole -3 Lowrance Elite-5x Transducer Mounted In Scupper Hole Under Seat - 1 Lowrance Elite-5x Transducer Mounted In Scupper Hole Under Seat - 2 Suitable In Eather High Or Low Seat Position Finally, I evaluated were to mount the actual unit; I did not like the possibility of having to reach or stretch, straighten, or extend my body, especially my arms to their full length to operate the unit; so, I decided to put the unit in a position that was out of the way while paddling my kayak and while I was actively engaged in retrieving and managing a fish. 17. Thanks for the reply; I appreciate it! I contacted BPS and they provided me with the number to their service center: Power Pros Tracker Boat Service Center 3260 Homeward Way Fairfield, Ohio 45014 Phone 513-874-9202 Fax 513-874-3598 How do you like your 190 TX?
  18. PotomacBassin: I just purchased a spare tire for my 2013 Tracker Pro Team 190 TX. Here is a picture of how I mounted my spare tire. It is important that it be mounted on the starboard side; if you ever have to access it your body will be off the road. As you can see I have mounted mine far enough forward, but still allowing my trailer swing-away tongue once the locking pin has been remove to travel unobstructed to the side of the trailer. Loading is not a problem with the spare in this position either. If your trailer is appropriately submerged, your 190 TX will catch the trailer bunks before the bow contacts the spare tire. I am enjoying my 190 TX and I hope you are as well!

  22. My first ride, which I still have, is a Jackson Cuda Yellow Jacket kayak. Purchased my second ride, a 2013 Pro Team Tracker 190 TX with a 115 OptiMax Pro XS new in July of 2013.
  23. Purchased my first boat this July, a 2013 Tracker 190 TX. I did a fair amount of research; enough to know there are a number of Tracker owners who are not satisfied with their Tracker product. The only upgrade was the motor. Mine is fitted with a Mercury 115 OptiMax Pro XS. I have had the boat in the water a number of times with no reported problems or concerns. I am impressed with the eight foot rod locker, and being 6'3" plus and 260 lbs, the 18' 7'' length provides me with ample maneuvering room on the deck. The ride has been impressively smooth and dry!
