maybe a weld job on your fender is enough???

So I ended up doing out to the river on the 30th and launched from the small boat harbor in colonial heights, we had 10 on the day with the biggest being 2.6 and the rest pretty close to that. Most of the fish we found where holding pretty tight to deeper water structure mostly big lay downs with rocky banks but it had to be close to 12 foot of water or the bite was not their. Most of the fish we caught were on the tide moving out at slack or moving in it was a struggle to find fish.

Just wanted to see if anyone had been fishing in the tidal Appomattox river and been having any success this year with all the rain here in VA? I hadn't seen any post about fishing the river just thought id throw it out there and see what people are saying. Thanks
