Hello everyone, I've lived in Upstate SC my entire life. Recently I have become more involved in bass fishing and would like to know if anyone knew any spots to fish. I've fished most of the bigger lakes and rivers around. I don't have a boat right now or I would always be at Hartwell. I would love to know if anyone knows of any small ponds that have healthy largemouth around the Spartanburg and Greenville area. I'm a catch and release fisherman mostly, unless I'm specifically catching crappie (love the taste of crappie). Thanks guys, any input would be helpful. Happy fishing

Great thanks, Ill check those out. What about soft bait, any suggestions? Also, What other rods are there for around the $50 range?

I recently got permission to fish on a private pond, I always see plenty of bass swimming around and other people fishing and catching Bass and Bream. I'm trying to start a new tackle box, as I've only been bass fishing a few times. How does this look? I plan on going to my local sporting good store and looking at soft bait and hooks. Are these lures okay or am I wasting my money? Any tips would be great. Thanks, Damian.
