went out today 7:30 to 11:30, saw some fish moving around on surface but no topwater action, used a silver jerkbait and got 2 and lost 2 or 3, 19 1/2 and a 15, no pics today, wicked wind started up at 11:30 so i got outta there, I won't be fishing much over the next month or so, i have alot of chores to do at home and getting ready for spring spawn, well just spring, too many honey do to do.

disidle the 29 series will last all day, I have a minn kota 55 and a 29 series and sometimes i troll for 6 hours when needed, only problem for me is the weight,

fished from 10:30 to 4:30 today, should have stayed home, only got 1 all day. like they had lock jaw. and my truck battery died had to use my spare boat battery, then i broke my new rod just one of those days 21" got it on a 1/2 oz silver rattle trap

that's the jon boat i have been looking at, perfect size and weight, i have a 12 ft alumacraft now and it is a little to big and heavy to drag around, good luck today, i will be out at 9:00 to allday, hope to find something.

Well it was slow for us today, only got 4 fish, 2 on a floating minnow crankbait, 1 on a spinner, biggest on 1/2 oz rattletrap silver/red Joe's biggest today, 17 inch that will be it for this month,

Joe and I are going out early, rain or shine, looks like it could be a cloudy day,

what i dont like, a skunk day or not enough time to just go out.

I want to tell all you guys an gals how much i like this thread, and the fishing stories, and i have learn alot from what you guys use,

merry christmas, we had a xmas party last night and the power went out for 1 1/2 hours, so i got out the candles and oil lamps, it turned out kinda cool, for christmas gear i got a new shimano rod and a berkley lip grip/digital scale. nice saturday we will try out the new toys

went out by myself today, got on the water at 6:30 and fished till about 11:00, I got 6 total, the bite after 9:00 shut down and the wind started blowing pretty good, nothing big today, but i can get my 5 for the month. 15 1/2", 15 1/2", 15" lou, please add the two 15 1/2" to my total, i think that puts me at 84" I used a kvd crankbait 1.5 (green) and a new lure i saw capt shain use on you tube, rapela floating minnow, silver with black on top, you can see it 1 of the pictures, 5 of the 6 i got today were caught on that, i had a chance to talk to alot of fisherman today, seems to be a slow day in my neck of the woods

getting ready to go out tomarrow for a full day of fishing, not sure if joe is going, he seems to be in christmas mode, he may get fired up when someone passes him, anyways looks like a good day, good luck to everyone.

I had a day so my son and i went out to a new lake and tryed for 3 hours and got skunked, moved to a smaller lake nearby and was able to get 3 fish, 20", 18 1/2" and a 13, all on crankbaits, kvd green 1.5, a very slow bite today, and then when i went to get a pics my camera was dead, so i used my cell, but i am having a hard time getting it to send out, so hopefully later i can post pics ok, here we go, finally got the pictures ' My son Joe got the 20 1/2" and i got the 18 1/2" Lou, i think we can cull a 15 for Joe, i think that puts him at 93 1/2" and with the 18 1/2" that puts me at 53"

Going out in the morning with my son joe, got to get him some fish, he is all pumped and ready to go,
