  1. I have just recently purchased the 10E version of the pelican bass raider boat and have taken it out 5 times this year. It is powered by a Minn Kota 45 lb trolling motor running off of 2 deep cycle batteries housed in the Minn Kota battery boxes. I currently have the two batteries wired in parallel utilizing the built in electric wiring. So one battery is in front of the boat using the Pelican plug adapter and the other battery in the back of the boat by the trolling motor connected in parallel. This layout helps distribute the weight in the boat and increase the battery life. Also have oars that are mounted on the sides of the boat which I used some oar holders purchased from gander mountain. I have just recently installed a humminbird 597 ci DI fish finder that uses the quick disconnect bracket attached to the flat portion on the right side pontoon using 2 sided sticky tape which has work very well. The transducer is also mounted to the trolling motor which has turned out to work very well. I currently use my truck bed to transport the boat from lake to lake. All in all I would recommend this boat to any one. Can provide information or tips regarding the boat or accessories to any one in need.
