Horseshoe crazy

I bought a 597 hd di unit last year and I need replace the analog unit on the bow. Thinking about the same unit for the front. But was looking at a 700 series si unit. So my question is is the si worth the extra money and if I bought it would it serve me better on the bow or console.

I'm going fishing tomm and I'm not sure where to start. Last weekend I fish a new lake and the water temp was around 73. I'm Not sure where to start on Sat. I keep reading that fish should shallow but does that shallow in coves off of the main lake or would it be better to go to shallow end of the lake and find cover in that area to fish. I was planning on fish spinnerbaits ,soft plastic crawls and small cranks.

I'm looking at getting a new rod for t-rigging. Thought about one of these three. I have a compre and st Croix I love but thought about trying something different with the veritas. Not sure if I should cuz Croix and shimano have such great warranty programs and the Abu is known to break. What do guys think. Also should I get a m or mh. Leaning towards mh7'.
