Alright ty bud

So today I just purchased a new rod for bass fishing, it is a quantum graphite series spinning rod .... the only listed specs on the pole is that it is 6ft and medium action. Last thing it gives is the model number which is qgs60m or the zero could be a "o" but im sure it is a zero...... Id like to know the line wt. rating and any other features of this pole but I couldn't find anything when I tried to do a search. I will say the rod feels nice and seems to have a somewhat fast tip to it and the guy at the tackle shop I purchased it from gave it to me for $25 dollars out the door so I figured it should be a good buy. Also I have another question. Im going to try out braided line for a first time. After doing research about it all I can say is im very interested in it. My question is knowing that braided line causes more wear and tear on guides, would it be smart to put a metal guide tip on my pole to help out my rod's life span? Also if you want to throw any other advice or w.e my way about braid feel free and thanks
