@mainebass believe me after seeing your posts I have thought about making the trek more than once !! Haha this is a terrible addiction

I don't own a boat (right now lol) but that can change, so only shore fishing. I'm not opposed to driving a bit. I drive to Waltham for work everyday, so driving to fish would be welcomed lol. I tried out the Reservoir in Grafton a couple weeks ago but it wasn't as productive as I had hoped. @mainebass1984 if it's worth the drive... I'm on my way!!

Hello All, I'm trying to find a new hot spot in South Eastern MA. I live near Attleboro MA and have been to Manchester Pond Reservoir, the East Providence Reservoir, Burrs Pond, etc. But I am ready to try somewhere new, maybe somewhere that is a "winner" in terms of Bass Population. I know we all like to keep our hotspots quiet and I promise to do the same. Oh and I am strictly a catch and release guy. Any suggestions? Jorge

Funny, I was going to post the same thing. I just went through it too. However, my solution was to use a heavy book as my line tensioner with the pole set up as if I were using it on the water and I made sure to crank the reel at a reasonable pace. I figured I really had no reason to rush the process. Thanks for sharing

Its been bit or miss for me, but the days there hitting they're hitting hard and frequently so I guess I'll chalk it up to mostly good!
