Yes i grew up in davie i lived right next door to the fire station on Orange Dr just west of davie rd. I have seen some monster snook in there and even some of the side canals. They were always snagging the brim and bait fish i would catch with bread when i was about 10 years old lol. Scared the poop out of me when i was that young and saw a big violent splash and then 2 seconds later my line would snap.

There is a canal in Davie that i use to fish a long time ago when i was a kid it is at nob hill and griffen ive seen some real big ones come out of there so i decided to change it up and go for them.

Happy new year to all. Went out to a new spot on saturday no bass at all but i did happen to catch 2 snook 6 and 3 lbson a silver/black yamamoto crank bait and a nice 3lb peacock on a buzz bait. I will be leaving for Tennesee in a little over a week and will be back in feburary i might do a little fishing on this trip (i really hope i do but depends on the wife ). Hope to upload some nice catches when i get back.

Thanks for holding out Lou but no big guys yesterday when I got ack I had to meet up with the family so no time to post. Great job this month from everyone.

i am going out tomorrow real early to try and get that pig back lol. but that will be my last few hrs this month im thinking. going to bring it next year though.

wow DS nice catch. went out with my new rig i got for xmas got the quantum smoke its a sweet reel. caught the big one right out of the gate with a 6" pearl white senko worm he was 22" and weighed 5.5lbs was a great start to the day the nexte one was a little bit later but still not bad he was 18.5 but only weighed 3 lbs caught him on a crawfish colored 6" senko overall it was a good day not to hot and had a few laughs and only one heart break from being only half a foot of landing a nice 7-8lb lmb he jumped right at the shore and snapped my line like tinsle i almost cried.

Yep and i gave them my new spot that i got that guy in. i should of kept it a secret lol

ya when held up it measures 21.5 but yes from the pic it is 21 so thats where we keep it at im going to hit that spot up today after i get off work my 2 fishing buddies are there now just sent me a pic of 2 4-4.5lbs i knew they couldnt wait for me

Went out for a few hrs today got a nice one on a Bama bug 5" senko worm he was 21.5" I'm trying to load it in comments but won't let me attach it here on my iPad but it is in the gallery under today's date

Went fishing for a few hrs on sunday here is what i got before the rain started. caught them all on 5" senko worms 17/17.5/18/19.5

Ya so my day was out from the rain only thing I hooked today was my finger and it went barb deep felt real good. I'm in for next month going out tomorrow hope to start December out with a bang guess if I do well I'll post them up on Monday. Hope you all had a great turkey day

Been sick all weekend so no fishing for me i am going to try and go out this week to keep my spot or raise up a spot or 2

My regular spot is still filled with fish but it seems the big ones are on vacation or not interested in being caught ive gotten some 5-6lbs out of there but havent caught more than a 4lber for a while now

Ah ty for clearing that up good thing they were recorded before the crash. My going rogue the other day to the new spot got me a few but nothing real big but hey i was fishing so i had fun anyways.

BTW anyone else have some pictures deleted on their gallery also im missing a few and this thread is missing a few pages.

I just got a quantum smoke i love that thing and i put it on the new ugly stick GX2 its a great set up i love it

Ok so i went out to my regular spot thinking this wind wont be that bad....i was wrong. I got a few backlashes as i casted and the wind picked up. I had to re spool my caster since i got the mother of all birds nests needless to say all the birds were jelious that i made one so purdy. I threw everything i had out there no bites (crankbaits,spinners,frogs, popers) nothing was even looking at it then i changed to my old faithful my senkos. Caught 13 LMB all about 10"-15" and a little guy who thought he was 10lbs at heart. Then this guy hit like a ton of bricks not a bad fight jumped 3 times then decited he didn't want to fight anymore. Then i caught something for the first time in this spot a catfish on a rubber worm i thought it was a little strange i have never caught one with that before. I am going out again saturday hopefully i have better luck. Anyone going out and want to fish together send me a message.
