Everyone mostly supports flexible rods so that you don't pull the hooks away from a fish. What if you used mono for its stretch factor in the same way? I.e. stiffer rod with mono to not pull away.

Do you all worry about faded braid?

SOS pads or Steel wool will easily take stains off that have been there a while.

Color sections of your line with a black marker. You can either color the whole line or space it out for a camoflauge effect!

Anyone use braid for everything? Noticed an article by Aaron Martins saying he does so with flouro leaders. Considering doing this but I'm afraid of line to line knots!
