  3. They don't have any coverage on the days of the classic?? When is the live coverage and where?
  4. I bet the largemouth bass and peacock bass fishing down there is insane, since most people hit the flats for saltwater fish. That is if there are any ponds or canals with freshwater..
  5. Oh my! You went above and BEYOND! Thank you for all of the research you did! You sir know how to decipher a lake, let alone a topo map! I would have never considered all of these variables as you did, but now I will and I believe it will benefit me immensely! Thank you so much!!! Now all I need is a fish/depth finder lol
  6. i'm going to have to see these things perform EXTREMELY well before i even consider buying another jerkbait..
  7. Just snagged this deal at Bed bath & Beyond, only $22 instead of $30! What a steal
  8. Will do, I just need to get on the lake and meet some of the locals that fish it. Too bad its frozen solid
  9. Thanks, I will definitely go to the DEC and get all the info and maps I can get. I didn't know Blydenburgh produced an 11 lber! Thats crazy! I've heard of 8s and 9s out of there but nothing that close to state record!
  10. Elaztech baits work well in cold water.. They are naturally buoyant and they last forever!
  11. Any clarity. If you feel more comfortable with throwing brighter colors in murky water, then go for it. Personally, I'd throw any color still.
  12. x2 Florida LMB would only be a different species if it could not produce offspring with a northern strain LMB. If the offspring of a FLMB and a NLMB would be able to produce its own offspring, then it would set in stone the fact that FLMB and NLMB are the same species. This is indeed true, as FLMB+NLMB offspring have produced their own offspring.
  13. But would 15 minutes be enough to verify the fish? I don't see why I cant take lots of photos including all measurements and then get my scale verified after I let the fish go..
  14. Thing is I'm a bank fisherman, I wouldn't lug around a cooler all day, but a collapsible mesh bag might work.. if i could aerate somehow....
  15. I would much rather keep the fish alive, but to sacrifice a chance for the title of state record holder.. its a close decision. Would it be practical to transport the fish in a large bucket so it can get verified?
  16. Hello, I was curious as to how one could verify a state record bass and still keep it alive and let it swim another day. I know it is pretty simple if you have a livewell and a boat, but if you do not... how would you accomplish this, especially if you are fishing from shore? I don't want to sound cocky as if I were to catch the next record, I just want to be prepared.
  17. Nice! PB's are always great, especially in the winter!
  18. I always bring all my tackle with me, because I will never know what the bass want.... If I bring certain lures what I think the bass may want, i'll end up regretting not bringing some certain lure (im a bank fisherman btw) I store all my hard/soft body lures in a plano two level satchel tackle box (http://www.amazon.com/Plano-Two-Level-Satchel-Tackle/dp/B000E3C3JY) And then for my countless bags of soft plastics... a back pack... Soft plastic bags are separated into large plastic bags.. One bag is labelled stick worms, one is frogs, one is craws, etc. I'm a bit crazy
  19. microsoft excel there's a mobile version
  20. I like your thinking Those spintrix trailers look very realistic, except I wouldn't expect much action from them on the fall as compared to the keitech
  21. Vote based on these choices: (The swimjig is Revenge Swim jig in Bluegill) A. B. C. D. E. F. G.
