  1. I bought the lunker hunt lunker frog and the "real" legs are garbage. The only time they move is if you really yank on it.. Other than that they always look as if the frog is just floating there even when u give a light tug. I'm excited to try a mouse i bought with willow leaf spinner blades for feet. And a baby crow with paddle feet
  2. Those really look good
  3. I found it here and wasted it on a $30 order. U can only use the prostaff discount 1 time.. Period. Code is cmalonehttp://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/6818862/Tackle_Warehouse_discount_code
  4. Agreed. If the fish like it from a boat they will like it from the shore. Just don't dive to deep...
  5. I just bought a daiwa t3 reel from tackle warehouse for $198... Cant beat that for a reel sold at bass pro for more than double the price. Its def a sweet reel. Also i limy daiwa my lexa100. Just wish daiwa provided spare spools.
  6. 7ft st croix premier rod 10lb spiderwire stealth braid brown 1/4oz jig (homemade) saffire blue netbait pacu chunk
  7. the sales are usually good but you can also use a prostaff discount once and if your ordering rods and reels thats a pretty good time to use it... 10% off isn't bad
  8. I was going to fish this tourney too but cannot. I have never fished there so i have no advice but i would def try to throw anything resembling a craw... that what works a little more north in lakes n ponds around dayton. good luck if your close enough Cowen has wednesday night tourneys starting 4/9.
  9. I use 3" power grubs on a 1/8, 3/8 jig. when its colder i do not use a spinner and when its warmer i use a spinner. The smallies in the little miami and surrounding rivers love these. i have also found this year that my coffee vasaline attractant really seems to help when coated on the lure.
  10. i like jj's scent is strong and colors are good but so far this year i've had good luck using my own made from vasaline, coffee and salt.
  11. I am saying $16 for a lure is expensive no matter what the brand is. The hooks on livingston products are really nice and so is the rest of the build. The action on the pro wake was really nice but its a pretty big square bill lure so its going to create lots of action. I don't see the comparison to Norman lures as fair.... there is nothing generic about livingston lures. if there is then there is something generic about almost all lure design and paint schemes. and yes you have to love when sponsors take charge..... like i'm sure he was using the daiwa tatula 100 reel for most of that tourney instead of the steez..... bunch of crap.
  12. Kvd sexy frog Spro Poppin frog Booya pad crusher Biggest let down was the *** lunker frog...
  13. i've have the pro wake and dd20. havn't used the dd20 yet but the pro wake is a very high quality lure. the croaking is very faint and i'm not sure the red glowing does anything but they are great lures and i will continue to use them once the batteries die. Should last 2 years according to a rep with Livingston. Both of mine were back when they were actually quality. i can spend $12 but the one that just won the classic is gonna be $16.... thats a far stretch from decently priced.... i can buy 4 bandits for that. also the light and croaking can be turned on by shaking the lure as if it were going through the water.
