  1. again everyone thanks for taking the time to answer!
  2. Hello Fisherman, Basically I have some jigs that I got last year, but I don't have a rod to use them with. they are 5/8 and 3/4oz jigs. I emailed dobyns and told them I would like a rod that I can pitch with into cover and be good at casting and dragging along the bottom. I got an email back and they have suggested the DX 745c. which of course is their top of the line 350$ rod that is a bit steep in price for me. Does anyone have a suggestion for perhaps a rod in their champion series or another company all together that will get the job done for less than 350$, I would like to try a dobyns but I also have experience with st Croix legend tournament and mojo. also, which revo would pair well with the jig rod you suggest. thanks in advance
  3. How do we feel about the 3rd generation Revo winch for 199.99. is there a much better reel out there for the money?
  4. Hey guys. This will be my first post on these forums. Last year I got pretty big into crankbait fishing. or should I say crankbait buying. Ive been an avid Senko bass fisher for a few years and am not afraid to spend money if the purchase is worth it. I ended up buying the St Croix legend tournament Teaser rod and outfitting it with a Abu Garcia Revo Premier and this set up has been amazing. Ive tried out the 20 or so crankbaits ive bought with this rod and it has not been a positive experience. Obviously this is not a crank bait rod so down to the question. st croix legend tournament TBC72MM or st croix mojo bass MBGC74MM for crankbait fishing? Money isn't necessarily an issue unless the increase in price is not worth it. thanks for reading my post!
