The Gen 1, and 2 revo, are nothing to sneeze at. For the money these reel were awesome. If you need to flip or pitch light objects, you'll probably need to bear down on the spool tension, and up the magnets a bit, than experiment with loosening up on them, and educating you thumb to the spool. I found the more upscale, and now defunct Revo skeet reese casts the light lures like it was made for it. It's worth hunting down on ebay. They are a super reel. ( I use trout magnets for smallies, in the local creek. )
