  1. Now if only you could get a good hookup ratio while swimming a senko slowly. I will hook into like 6 or 7 bass that never make it to the bank or boat. I may start swimming them with the hook exposed? Thanks for all the comments I will definitely try the Cut R worms.
  2. Weightless Texas Rigged. I normally ca st a senko out and twitch it twice and then I let it fall again. For some reason though they wanted it reeled like a swim jig but they wouldn't hit the swim jig. It was definitely strange for me.
  3. So yesterday I was pond hopping and we could not get the fish to bite. Out of desperation I tied on the Ole' faithful worm, a watermelon senko. After making numerous casts with no success I started reeling it slowly back to the bank while talking to a friend. As I reeled it I would twitch it once or twice. Well the fish went crazy over it. I was catching them about every other cast doing this or at least getting bit. After this I tied on a swim jig with an actual swimming senko and the trailer and they absolutely would not hit it. Has anyone else had success reeling a senko constant?
  4. Thanks for all the help gulfcaptain! I try to keep it simple I fish more ponds than anything else.
  5. I just found exactly what I was looking for on this site! http://www.bassresource.com/fish-facts/
  6. Yea, gotta love Bill Dance! I've read tons of articles on this site and gained some knowledge from them. I am just looking for a book or a dvd from a experienced bass fisherman giving information in which they've learned from years of fishing. Like for instance, what makes bass one day overly agressive to strike anything that touches the water then a few days later you can't tell if bass live there or not. Pretty much the way bass think, feed, and what makes them tick.
  7. I am hoping to better educate my self on bass and what makes them hit certain lures at certain times, so my question is, is there a better way out there to learn more about bass through high quality videos please inform me. -Thanks
  8. I hear a lot of people saying that but I never see my line do anything sporadic. I fish with 8 lb Tilene Maxx Mono. Although I never see any indications in my line more often than not I feel pressure when I go to pick up the senko off the bottom.
  9. Thanks for the help Kevin! I think my problem is not having confidence that when I lift my rod tip and feel pressure that theirs a fish on the other end. I will wait a few seconds then lift and no pressure. I've been missing a lot of fish haven't I?
  10. Can anything help me to have confidence in soft plastic u tail worms and stick worms like senkos? I have fished these plastics alot but have never caught a fish on them.
