  1. Can't wait to start crackin them when the ice is gone
  2. Park behind the Amherst police station big parking lot thing. There's a lot of shore access, I've caught a lot of fish off of various lures but I've just never caught anything with good size. But the population is high in there and you're always bound to reel one in
  3. Omg wow I'm around the area all the time because I have cabin out that way where I hunt, fish and what not. Never really tried either lake but see them all the time. How is it? Def need to try it next time
  4. Anyone ever fish Lake La Salle or the other pond on UB's campus? If so any tips or advice?
  5. Welcome! I've been at Walton Woods recently (it's the one behind the police station). No giants yet but you're always gonna catch something. People have told me they've pulled big bass out of there but I've yet to see someone or catch a big one myself but the bass population in there is very high. I usually use senkos and frogs and it gets the job done. So the pavement road spot is worth going out to? Are you technically allowed to fish it or have you ever had any problems?
  6. Fished it pretty well, no hogs but a lot of numbers. All caught on a buzzbait
  7. Can you fish Hyde from shore? Or is it hard with weeds and stuff
  8. Anyone fish Tift Nature Perseve (Lake Kristy) recently? Thinking about giving it a go soon
  9. Anyone ever fish a pond on Winbert Drive in NT? I went there the other day and caught 1 dink. Someone told me before it's pretty good but they weren't hitting much that I threw. I've heard that there are some good ponds up in Lancaster.. Anyone know of any?
  10. Is there event stuff down there or nah? And do you think you can meet them or is this like a lowkey type of thing?
  11. Where is this? Like the weigh station and what not
  12. Thanks, do you think it's that bad that it's not even worth going to?
  13. Going to fish the botanical gardens pond in South Buffalo tomorrow.. Anyone have any tips or advice for it? Thanks
  14. Where's the expo and stuff? Really interested!
  15. I might fish the Erie Canal Derby, but is that tournament you're in boat only? Or can you fish off of shore or kayak?
  16. Checked out the Walton Woods pond behind the Amherst police station and managed to catch 1 small bass off of a spinner bait. Seems pretty promising What part of Catt creek?
  17. Walton Woods ponds are in Walton Woods Park right behind the Amherst Police station, if you put on google maps on satellite "Walton Woods Park" you will see it I fish both the river part, the boat dock area (before the boats are in there) and the small pond thing with the bridges that people kayak around. I haven't been to either yet this year nor I have never been to Walton Woods but my friend likes it there. But I am almost 100% positive you can fish both the bigger and smaller one
  18. Just private and public ponds really.. I'm hoping to go to either Beaver Island this weekend and or Walton Woods ponds. My one friend fishes there and says he does well
  19. No, looked it up on the maps it looks nice.. But also looks it might be one of those private resident home ponds.. Looks like it's worth a shot though
  20. Anyone check out the overflow pond at ellicott creek yet?
  21. Ugh that's the worst, I'll be definitely hitting the water this upcoming week and weekend
  22. @Justjigger thanks guys will def check out your suggestions
