  1. I'd at least give a fluke a shot. Pretty easy to at least get some action out of just a twitch-twitch pause, and it has always been a bait thats been relatively sucessful for me in any water (large resevoir or small pond) and every season. Pearl white and albino are my typical go-to colors. Just make sure you hook it straight.
  2. I ordered a 7' MH version of the Elite Tech Bass casting and it arrived Friday. I haven't been out on the water with it yet, but man does it look and feel nice. I have been using one of the elite tech smallmouth rods on a spinning setup with a patriarch for finesse applications like a shakey head and it has proven to be my favorite rod. I knew when I saw the bass version coming out I had to pick one up so I plan on putting a BB1 pro on this one. It feels as if it is even higher quality than the smallmouth, the reelseat looks really solid and the guides look quality as well.
