  1. I second this. $1.50 for a 5 pack of the 5 inch yum dingers. Go buy 5 packs (25 worms) of different colors and find out which ones work best. Also I would get some drop shot weights, drop shot hooks, and 3/0 or 4/0 hooks. You should be able to get all of that for around $15 and still have $35 to spend. With the remaining money I would grab a couple of strike kings jigs, two packs of plastic trailers, spinnerbait and buzz bait in white/chartreuse and one in black/blue, and then a pack of storm shads 3 in. With all of that you would be looking at right around 40 dollars and you would have 10 dollars left to pay for gas or food for the day.
  2. I plan on upgrading to 12 lb trilene xl eventually but right now im going to stick with the 10 lb big game which is some pretty tough line. Also would the Berkley Lightning (not shock) 7 ft. MH fast action rod work with spinnerbaits? Its rated for 10-20 lb line and 1/2oz - 1 oz lures but im sure that i could use 3/8 oz.
  3. Hi all, I recently just got back into bass fishing after taking nearly 2 years off. Today at my local walmart I saw that they had bomber bushwacker spinnerbaits in white, chartreuse, and white/chartreuse with sizes ranging from 1/8 oz to 1/2 oz. and with either a single willowleaf or colorado blade. I decided to go ahead and buy one 3/8 oz chartreuse/white spinnerbait with the single Colorado blade. My questions is has anyone ever fished these before and would they work well on a 7 ft. MH rod with a Fast action (Baitcaster with 10 lb big game)? Also I will be fishing mostly in smaller lakes and ponds that have lots of areas where there might be potential snags, so should i fish them like 3 feet below the surface? Thanks for any help!
