ive got winn grips that came on my cabelas zx rod and love em to death

powell diesel for 50 and an h20 mettle reel. think theyre 40-50. or maybe u can find a used shimano citica 200e. they go for around 60-70. would be a sweet quality combo

are daiichi red treble hooks any good ? my local walmart had some on clearance for 2 something a pack so i picked up a few.

^ thats what i wanna do. wish all shimano reels would come with the powergrip II. put the bigger knobs on the citica recently. guess ill go on and do it to the scorpion but i agree i like the paint job on the stock handle

i picked up one of those scorpions myself. really like the 50siZe. just noticed all gander has is the 6.1 ratio in that chronarch. would prefer the 7.1. mAy check that aldebaran out. ive been eyeing those on the auction site

yea i meant finding a slightly used core50 they pop up alot from time to time. but i know the chronarch is a solid reel and 150 is a good price

been thinkn bout that 50e for a little while going back n forth btwn it and the core50

anyone use this bag? i need a bigger tackle bag than my 3600 plano. had my mind set on one of the cabelas bags that was on clearance but it sold out quick. the Shimano Baltica is another but it doesnt have the removable shoulder strap and the hard rubber bottom. the spiderwire gets good reviews and has a ton of pockets and is a good siZe. just wondering if anyone uses it and likes it and if its good quality

almost sold my tatula after i initially had it on my rod and palmed it for the first time but glad i kept it. ive gotten used to the size. as of now its my only daiwa but i wouldnt hesitate to pick up another.

i have a fairly large sterilite container i got at walmart and keep em in original bags in there. ill take a cpl packs of worms ,creatures and whatever and put in that little bassmaster tackle bag or a book bag to bring with me for the day

i like the winn grips that u see on some rods now - cabelas tourn zx, castaway invicta,hammer rods. if only more rods would use them! btwn cork and eva it doesnt matter so much as long as it feels good in hands.
