yea im thinking i might stick my bass pro spinning reel on it for now and just set aside some money here and there for the Stradic...the bait monkey is killing me lately...i can at least keep him at bay for a little while

picked up an older gen 1 cumara spinning rod and trying to figure out what reel i am going to pair it with....would kind of like to stick to shimano but would like to keep the price under 130ish.....ive looked at some reviews for their saros,symetre,sahara reels and while theres plenty of favorable reviews theres always a few that really dislike the reels and have had some issues. just wondering if anyone here owns any of those reels and have had any issues and can help me figure out which one would be the best for the money.

what is the best size hook for wacky fishing? lookin at the zappu inchi wacky jighead. notice they come in a few siZes - 1/16,3/32,1/8, and 3/16. just wondering if anyone has a preference. bout to place an order. thanks!

i see these r on sale again. was thinking about picking up the 7' medium/fast for spinnerbaits/swimjigs/buzzbaits. anyone have any experience with that particular model? i notice they also have a medium heavy moderate in a 7ft as well. jw which would be better for these applications.

ive seen the E on fleabay recently sell for like 170-180. searching the fishing forums is the best way. i got a slightly used one from a guy on here for 125. looked basically almost new but yeah if u can find em for 100-130 grab one. if not , the I is the way to go for sure.

got about 170 dollars worth of baits and hooks in my TW cart. would like to reduce that price a little but i want it all

bought 2 reels the past cpl months but seriously conSidering one of those daiwa alphas sv. picked up some h20 xpress lures from academy. impressed with the quality and action of the jointed shad and lipless crankbait

^ i sawthose. woulda grabbed one but i wanted bluegill color and they were out. ill probably grab one regardless next time i go. i did get one of the smaller ones in shadtreuse color. along with a lipless crank and a prop bait. may go out to the pond this afternoon and try them out

local store has lot of shimano rods on sale. i picked up an older cumara casting rod the other day. i figured i may go on and upgrade my spinning rod from my old bps graphite series ive had for a few yrs and get one of these shimanos. they have th older crucial and cumaras. the crucial they have is the 6'6 medium/fast and the 6'8 medium /xtra fast. the only cumara is a 6'8medium heavy/fast. lure rating on the crucial is 6-12lb test , 1/8-3/8 lures. cumara can handle 3/16-5/8. would the medium heavy cumara cast light stuff mostly trick worms,flick shakes,etc well or should i stick with the lighter weighted crucial ?

havent spooled it up yet with anything. ordered some line for my other reels just now. i usually use 12-15lb mccoy

this is my first 50 size reel. was wondering should i go with braid to get more line capacity or would 8-10lb copoly work fine? going on a 6'8 medium cumara. probably use for a lot of things. lizards,keitach fat impacts,small texas rigs etc

im not sure. i picked up alot of lipless cranks here lately. most 5/8oz. but i have two glass rods one is the lamiglas excel 2 which is rated up to 1oz so i may be throwing them on it

yeah thats mostly what i threw was squarebills and shallow to mid cranks. handled em just fine.
