Its not a big deal, bass fishing is a blood sport and its bound to happen to everyone. Just get better at removing the hooks, and if your really that worried pinch down your barbs.

I need to get better lights on my boat before I start night fishing... There are so many stumps where I fish I wanna make sure I can see them.

This morning after a really tough day and only 4 bass I lost a nice 3 or 4lb bass at the boat

I bought a foot controlled 45lb Minn kota edge for my 15ft Lowe and it moves it pretty good, that was the biggest I could afford, a 55lb would be better but it is considerably more expensive.

What does running lean mean? Because the engine backfires a little sometimes and I figured that must be causing it... Thanks for the help ill try to replace them, would it be okay to use the engine while that hose is leaking? It only backfires out of the water though, never had it do it while it was in the water...

I wouldn't think its the solenoid because its brand new... But I really hope my starters not pooping out on me. Anyway to know for sure if the starters going bad?

And another quick question because I feel like I'm already making to many threads.... What could cause a starter to get stuck? My engines starter will sometimes get stuck and if you just barely move it then it will work like a charm, after awhile it will get stuck again.

They go to each clynider and Idk what goes through them, it seems like a little bit of oil from the oil you mix with the gas I assume? What woukd you call them? Are they replacable or do they connect to a certain part and you can't just replace the lines? The one going to the upper clynider has a small leak and I wanna replace it, that's why I'm asking. I'm talking about the black lines going right behind the throttle from under the carb to the clyniders.

I usually use 1oz - 1&1/2oz but if the bass are lethargic and its not super thick you can get away with 3/4oz. Bait size and shape plays a role too, some baits slide through easier than others.

I bought a strike king king shad and I'm loving this thing, it runs really shallow and its easy to use in the grassy lakes around here...

Figured since we have finally got the thing running okay I'd post it here. My parents bought me this for a graduation present and I was in love the second I saw it, its a 15ft 1980 Lowe with a 1980 25HP mercury. When they bought it just had the motor and the two low seats, the high seats, trolling motor, and battery are all brand new. I feel so spoiled..... When they said they were thinking about getting me a boat I was thinking more like a 12' jon boat... But I'm okay with this! Lol
