Hi all. I'm a "newbie" to both this forum AND bass fishing. I didn't do a lot of fishing growing up but got hooked last year when my brother inlaw got a little boat and we found a nice little lake full of bass. We pretty much stuck to weightless texas rigged senkos all year and didn't find a reason to change....had a blast! Here's my question: I'm up in Minnesota so our bass don't get as big as down south, but I'm looking to upgrade a little so I'm not using the same rod/reel as when I was 15. I want to stick with a spinning reel but does anyone have any suggestions for a weekend warrior? rod, reel, type line and lb test..... thanks!! Jim
