Incidentals?
I've caught plenty of catfish on cranks, but the first was the biggest surprise. Night fishing for bass at a local quarry that use to be the home of very big bass for northern Ohio when I hooked into what I thought was a new pb. Fought it for pretty close to ten minutes before I seen it was a flathead. Went 14-6. I was disappointed and happy at the same time since I grew up cat fishing. Found out later on some idiot put several 40+ lb flatheads from the Ohio river in there. If there's any big bass left it'd be a miracle.

Buck Tail/hair Jigs For Walleye
Going to start using these this spring and was wondering where to find the best ones with stinger hooks. I've searched the internet and haven't found many at all. Thanks in advance.

Phenix M1 Spinning Rod
Thanks for the replies. Really leaning towards it. How does the guide size compare to other rods? I use an Okuma Citrix and like the size of their guides.

Phenix M1 Spinning Rod
Anyone have personal experience with the 7'2" medium? Was looking into getting this to pair with a stradic ci4 for walleye jigging in the spring on Erie. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Help With Lake Erie (Port Clinton Area)
East Harbor and West Harbor are decent for largemouth if you can't go on the main lake. East Harbor is pretty shallow so you have to watch out around banks so you don't bottom out your trolling motor.

All Ohio Fishing
5fish, how often you go to Port Clinton? I do my cat fishing up there and bass fish sometimes. Never had that good of luck with largemouth but kill the white bass after the cats are done running. I'll be up there Saturday evening hopefully slaying the cats.

Dobyns 704Cb Vs. 704Cb Glass
I'd be using this rod for smaller spinners, chatter baits, and cranks. I have the 705cb glass and love it, but can't throw the lighter stuff all the best with it. I'd appreciate any input from someone who has fished both. Thanks.

Carrot Sticks?
I have owned 2, a wild and wild black. The wild black snapped on a hook set of a 2 pounder. The wild is still going strong and going to be used for catfish this year. Spent two months just trying to get a reply for the black before I gave up and decided no more rods from them. Maybe the new company has better customer service.
