Using A Leader
I don't know what kind of braid you guys use or what poundage but for me personally braid seems to be way more durable. Braid seems to be invincible when I compare it to fluoro.

Using A Leader
I use a leader occasionally but every time I do I feel like I spend more time worrying if my leader is getting nicks in it and worrying when I am going to break off a big bass than I actually do fishing. I am still experimenting with wether or not I like to use a leader. At this point I do feel like fish tend to bite more often and bigger fish for that matter when I am using a leader. But I do feel more confident when I am using just straight braid than when I am using a leader.

Huddleston Swimbait Questions
Hey guys I am looking to getting into swimbaits and I want to try some Huddleston baits. I live in Central Florida and I know that many of the Huddleston baits are designed to imitate trout that we do not have here in Florida. Has anyone in Florida had success with Huddleston baits, if so what colors? Also any rigging tips would be great!

Spinner Bait Questions.
What kind of trailers do you use on spinner baits or do you use trailers at all? Also when I fish soft plastics I like to fish a lot of dark greens, blues and blacks. I have had success on those colors and I have shied away from anything with bright blue, white, orange, and chartreuse colors. It seems to me that a lot of crank baits and the majority of spinner baits are those brighter colors. I have told myself that those colors don't work well in the lakes I fish here in central Florida. Is that true? OR do I just need to start trying some more brightly colored baits?

Crank Baits And Spinner Baits, Help!
Hey guys I am fairly new to bass fishing. For the last two years I have basically only fished soft plastics and jigs. I want to learn to fish crank baits and spinner baits. Can you recommend a good all around crank bait set up and good all around spinner bait set up. Also could you recommend a few crank baits and spinner baits to start with? Thanks!

H2O Express Academy Sports And Outdoors Brand
Hey guy a few new Academy Sports and Outdoors just opened up in my area and I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Academy brand called H20 Express. They make hardbaits, spinnerbaits, frogs, and a variety of hooks, I haven't seen any soft plastics at my store don't know if they make any at all. I picked up a jerk bait and a squarebill just to see how they fish. They are pretty cheap and just wondering if anyone else had fished them?

What Rod Should I Buy?
Hey guys I am going to upgrade my rod. I have been fishing a Berkley Lightening 7ft MH rod mostly with soft plastics and jigs. I want something that is going to be a pretty versatile rod. For the time being it will be the only baitcaster that I fish. I am looking for something in the $80 to $120 range. Right now I am thinking about a *** *** Black 7'1" MH. What do you think I should get and why?

Baitcaster Won't Engage. Help!
Hey guys I have a Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier baitcasting reel and I am having some issues with it. I have had it about a year and I have never had a problem with it until now. All of a sudden it will not engage and reel in my line. I click the button throw it out and let the bait hit then water but when I go to reel it back in won't engage to reel in my line. I am turning the reel and the line threader thing is moving but the spool is not turning. If I hit it hard on the side a few times it will click and engage and I can reel it back in. Any advice on how to fix this problem would be a great help! Also what do you guys think of the Pro Qualifier. It is the first and only baitcaster I have ever owned and until now I have loved it. Thanks!

Fluorocarbon Leader Questions.
Hey guys I am having a hard time figuring out exactly how to fish with a fluorocarbon leader. Lately I have been fishing 40lb braid with a 12lb leader. I am using Spiderwire EZfluoro it is pretty cheap fluorocarbon should I upgrade the fluoro I am using? The problem that I have been having is that it has been breaking off in various ways. The other night I went out and caught 7 bass and had no problems. I went out this morning and the first bass I hooked in to jumped and shook its head and broke off about 1/4 of the way up the leader. Then the second bass bit and I went to set the hook and it broke off right below the connection to the braid. A few different times it seemed like the knot just came undone and I lost my lure. Have you guys experienced this with fluorocarbon? Any suggestions on how to get the best performance out of fluoro and have as little break-offs as possible? What kind of fluoro do you use? What kind of knot do you use to attach it to the braid and to the hook? Also what is your opinion of fluorocarbon leaders, do you use them, why or why not? Thanks!

Fishing Line Questions
Hey guys I have a question about fishing line. I live in Central Florida and I have gotten pretty big into bass fishing, although I being a student I don't have the budget to buy all the rods and reels that I need for different techniques. That being said I am fishing two rods. I have a 7ft medium spinning rod and then a 7ft MH baitcaster that I use the most. I primarily throw Texas rigged soft plastics with the baitcaster and I want to know what kind of line I should have on this rod that I can use with the most different techniques. I want a line that I can fish soft plastics and jigs with as well as a top water frog from time to time and topwater hard baits and chatter baits. Obviously I know there is not one perfect line but if you were limited to one rod like I am what line would you go with? Also if the answer is braid with a fluorocarbon leader do I need to match line diameters or can I use a 12lb fluoro leader with 30lb braid even though they are not the same diameter? Any advice about line is greatly appreciated!

What Type Of Line Should I Be Using?
Hey guys I am just wanting to learn what to use and when, in terms of line. I never know what poundage and type of line I should be using for each situation. I am new to bass fishing and just beginning to acquire the rods and reels I need, I do not have the budget to go out and buy six new rods and reels. Right now all I have is a 7ft MH baitcaster and a 7ft medium spinning rod. I am mostly fishing Texas rigged soft plastics with my baitcaster. I love to use braid and right now I have 30# braid on my baitcaster. What is the best set up for soft plastics?

What Rods Should I Have On My Kayak?
I am just getting into bass fishing and I have purchased a fishing kayak that I fish from. I want to carry three rods on my boat and I want suggestions as to what rods and reels I should have. Would you please suggest the length and action of rods as well as specifics on reels. I know that you should use certain rods and reels for certain techniques but I do not know what is best for what. I currently throw all of my baits with a 7ft medium action spinning rod with a 4000 size spinning reel. I know that is not ideal and I am looking to purchase new rods and reels that will help me more effectively throw any kind of bait and catch more fish. Thanks for your help!
